Hi all, apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I'm having trouble with continuing my custom championship.

I completed the first round, which consisted of a practice and then a race, starting from the back of the grid. No problems there. Came back a few days later, and now I click the red Start button, and nothing happens. I have two other custom championships saved, one on its 3rd round and the other on its 1st (I just created it to test), and the Start button works as expected in both.

Anyone have any idea what's going on, or suggestions for what I might be able to try to fix this?

Just to follow up on this, I've solved the problem, but in a roundabout sort of way, which probably won't be very helpful to anyone who might encounter a similar situation in the future.

A few days ago, I replaced my Win10 rig with one that can run Win 11. So, obviously a fresh install of everything, with the exception of the use of the same OneDrive account which shares the Documents folder where AMS2 seems to write most of its settings/config files.

After reinstalling AMS2 and all the related apps and hardware drivers and such, I can continue the "problem" championship right from where I left off previously, no problems at all.

No idea why, or what caused the initial issue, but glad it's fixed.

Hey thanks for posting this! I just had it happen to me. But I did not change anything (at least that I'm aware of) unless there was a big update in Windows. Sucks because I am stuck in the same situation now. Strange thing is that I had two other championships and they work fine. But my most important one (a simulated IMSA schedule) is stuck. This is really frustrating.

Oh man, bummer! When it happened to me, I didn't do much troubleshooting, tbh. I knew I'd be setting up my new computer soon, so figured I'd worry about it then if it was still a problem.

The thing which I find odd is that, to the best of my knowledge, AMS2 writes all of its config files and such to a folder in your users/[my name]/documents directory. Since this directory (for me, anyway) is shared by my OneDrive account, I expected to have the same problem with the championship upon getting set up with the new rig. For some reason, that was not the case and things worked fine, right off the bat. So it would seem something else is going on here.

Only advice I could offer, I guess, is probably fairly obvious: try either a fresh install of the game (back up your existing configs first just to be safe), or maybe verifying files through Steam? Not sure what else it could be.

Thanks! I did do a complete re-install but it sucks that I have to start the Championship over again because I lost all of my saved files and never backed them up. Lesson learned :)
