Driver swaps are, of course human to AI. When we do endurance racing (24 hour races...) we're going to use this feature, we haven't messed around with it yet. We do use AI to fill out the field in our races.
Our practice server is up until Saturday morning. Then the race server goes up for Saturday pubby racing. Sunday I slap a password on it, so sign up in the Discord group for that. Join the Group C Obsessed Racing League Discord Server!
Hi Guy, I have just posted a bug report regarding using the driver swap to AI. I have only done this in single player and not multiplayer, but when you pit and have requested a saved pit strategy to change the worn tires, the pit crew do change the tires as it is displayed in the graph bar along with fuel and damage, but when the AI takes control and leaves the pits the tire HUD still shows the tire wear you came to the pit with which then forces the AI to make a 2nd stop to just change tires. P.S Love the idea of using this feature if the tire wear issue gets fixed. Set the multiplayer AI to a reasonable level and have your community drivers have a gentleman agreement that they need to use the AI driver for a set amount of time during the race.
