This weekend our Australian and New Zealand players will tackle the mountain over 2 sessions of 40 laps to get the 2025 V8 SuperCars Bathurst 500 Champion. We had a good turn out with most teams using 2 drivers to complete the 500km race over 2 x 40 lap session which gave us human driver swaps. Drivers that fell a lap down or more during the 1st 40 laps, got a lucky dog lap back, which resulted in 8 drivers restarting the final session on the same lap. The other 2 returning drivers had to wait to fall requires laps down before resuming their race. Unfortunately, one driver got disqualified due to rolling back in pit lane, but it was meant to be as his power went out 30 minutes later! Everyone enjoyed themselves in a race that gave a true co-driver experience. We are hoping in 2026 we can go back to the 4 sessions to make it a true Bathurst 1000.
