Yep. I was sure something was going to happen on Monday. A post here from the devs at least. Now I feel the same what I felt when I left rF2 behind for AMS2...

 

I am excited. I think there is a lot of good stuff coming. Old Le mans versions, relevant cars, more GT-{3,4,P} cars, AI improvements, 2000s endurance racing cars. Thinking of the licenses we already have and the stated plans, it looks like we're probably going to get great classics of Audi, Chevrolet, etc. I think the SCCA version of the Corvette was something of a hint at desired avenues for classes. And don't forget the second Lamborghini pack! Hints of Miuras in the air, and i'm guessing Diablo GTR, maybe Countach!?! There's a lot going on that's been hinted at/stated. It appears that they like to have e.g. multiple packs come out at the same time, perhaps partly to stabilise revenues in the face of differing tastes for new offerings?
Oh, and of course, 2025 Brazilian stock cars!

 

I am a member in the Automobilista 2 FB group. One guy has leaked information that, among the cars in the beta version that could arrive in the future are the Zakspeed Capri and BMW 320 from Group 5!

 

It’s not really a leak if the info is publicly available in the files of the game

 

I might explode - I saw an awesome video on IMSA with cars like these:

The video is hilarious btw - the narrator is basically describing 80s IMSA drivers like they're some kind of superhuman ubermenschen - and then they're just like 'i do this because my job is boring'

Would love to have something like the 935...

 

So I’m in favor of them completing the Lmdh and GT3 grids for IMSA and tracks. Although I wonder if some licenses are too expensive. I honestly don’t mind paying more. I prefer AMS2 over LMU

After that maybe some classic British touring car? Or NASCAR

Other big feature is lighting options, so we can get better fps at night in VR.

 

oh that reminds me, there are also hints to a "Stock Car USA" of some kind, for various years!

Really? I definitely need to check it. Could it be some corrupted files? I'll take a look.

EDIT: I found the problem. The game toggles the pit limiter on and off if you don't have a button bound to activate it. In my case, the issue was that it was bound to the secondary input instead of the primary one, which caused this behaviour. Now works perfectly. Thanks

 

It would be really nice if we could turn blue flags on and off. They are great for multiclass racing but when doing longer single class races where pit strategy comes into play, I'm not getting out of the way for other cars. We're racing here. And sometimes it's nothing but a blue flag warning on screen the whole time.

 

I agree there should be a "Blue Flags ON / OFF" option.
But in league racing 99% of the time the rule is "If you see a blue flag and are not fast enough to stay ahead and increase the gap, you have to yield".

 

Lets hope for a le mans content drop this weekend

 

Not exactly a feature request, but since Reiza now holds the Alpine license, it would be great to see more Renault and Alpine cars added to the roster. A few iconic suggestions:

• Clio Cup
• Renault 5 Turbo
• Renault Mégane Trophy
• Any Renault F1 car
• Renault Formula 3.5
• Renault R.S.01
• Alpine A310
• Alpine A442
• Alpine A110 (both the original and the modern GT4 version)

Some of these cars could even justify their own single-make series for career mode or custom races especially the Clio Cup, the Megane, the Renault Formula 3.5 and the Renault R.S.01.

We could even call it Le baguette pack DLC if Reiza could score the Peugeot licence xD

 

in the final dlc...

Hey guys great thread!
Few things i race in VR, the mirrors in some cars still dont work and also my suits neck is too far out in some cars and there is no way for me to move more backwards as my head is against my seat so i drive with a headless neck kinda sticking out infront of me.
Some neat things would be more to do with live track, if we can save a race skidmarks it would make it so immersive! Would make the track come alive! i know assetto corsa does this well and can go to other tracks and come back to a track and your previous skidmarks are still there!
