    Based on Game Build: 1.6.4.3
Request Title: ability to have AMS2 in triple monitor mode with a 4th monitor connected
Description: There is no native support for this so I need to use 2 apps for everything to work. Will make it easier for both new and experienced AMS2 users.
Benefits: no need to use multiple apps

Yes as far as i know to get this working you have to switch off fourth monitor and launch the game. Very frustrating.

More detailed weather settings exposed to the user
    Description:
What I'd like to see is more granular weather settings, such as setting temperature, humidity, precipitation (either absolute or as min/max setting based on the currently selected track/date combination), rate at which each weather slot changes to the next one, etc.
Benefit: Playing (weather) god, duh! :D (Could also be very beneficial when making screenshots or videos to create a specific mood on track.)

You can use software to do that automatically

I love the game. Please Reiza, add the possibility to save game during a race. It would be a real game changer

I think it would be cool if in long races they added dirt on the windshield. Like in Le Mans this year there were a lot of insects on the windshields.

There already is dirt on the windshield/side windows, maybe no insects, but there is definite dirt showing, some of it seems a bit excessive at times tbh, especially since there isn't a screen tearoff option

Hi, I am new to this forum.

First of all I would really like to say thank you and congratulations for the constant great work on Automobilista 2. Every update brings amazing improvements, making the game the best simulator for me when it comes to realism and fun to drive!

Below I will list the things I would like Reiza to add or update or improve.
    Content:
    Cars:
    -Aston Martin GT3/GTE
    -Aston Martin Valkyrie LMDH
    -Ferrari 296 GT3
    -Ferrari 499P Hypercar
    -Ford GT3
    -F1 2008 cars
    - Modern F2

    Tracks:
    -Qatar
    -Bahrain
    -Macau
    -Imola update
    -Monaco update
    -Monza update
    -Nurburgring update
    -Barcelona update
    -Red Bull Ring update
    -Suzuka update

    Things to improve/update:

-Ground-up change of anti-aliasing. (The current one is very demanding on the GPU and yet it doesn't work as it should).

-Optimise settings for grass, particles, shadows (smoke, gravel, etc.). (These settings are very demanding for computers).

-Removal of livery limits per car. (Currently custom livery replaces the original ones and it is not possible to add more. It would be nice if there was an option to upload an unlimited number of livery)

-Improvement of AI. Currently AI sometimes does not see the player next to it, causing it to drive into the player.

-Improvement of AI. Computer players' speed is not affected by the amount of fuel in the tank, tyre temperatures and tyre wear.

-Improved AI. During Full Course Yellow, the AI immediately pulls out onto the racing line when exiting the pit lane, crossing the box line.

-Improvement of AI. There are times when bots are unable to overtake a competitor, sitting on their tail despite the free space.

-Improving AI. It may seem like it to me, but AI never gets penalties. It would also be nice to see AI with penalties.

-Actualisation of the optimal track for AI players. AI is unnaturally fast on some tracks.

-Actualisation of box settings when driving in MFD. Addition of pressure settings per tyre, possibility to select several repairs instead of just one or all.

-Improvement of photo mode. Possibility to control the weather.

-Improvement of photo mode. Currently Motion Blur sometimes works strangely when taking photos (blurs the entire image).

I have given in my opinion the most important changes that would be welcome. Congratulations again to Rezia Studios for such a good simulator and I look forward to updates/dlc in the future!

I (no game developer experience) have a theory on how you could implement something like this, but I’m just a clueless guy who hasn’t worked on the Madness engine

Watching all the wec/imsa/elms content right now, would be nice if we could set independent dates for practice, quali and race

Something I would add to the ai, is that after contact they seemingly get no damage, or impacted performance, and can recover from really wild situations and slides, no one could recover from, and then they continue as nothing happened. Gets quite frustrating when they get glued to you sending you crashing and then they have no repercussions

Same for me: No dirt on cars, no dirt on windshields (tested GT3 and LMP2) - see also my posts in Screen Dirt .

Maybe it's some graphic setting I have set wrong. At the moment I can't see any dirt buildup on the vehicles or the windshield. Also missing: The rubber pieces next to the racing line.

Really no need to disagree with my previous post, i'm not new around here and if i post such a message, you can bet that i'm very sure about it. ;)

Attached you can find 2 screengrabs from my livestream of a 2.4H race around Le Mans we ran with our community, as well as my graphics settings, i'm running in VR, but also on monitor it shows the dirt.
dirt buildup is also visible on the exterior, as i've highlighted on the sidemirror as well.

Ofcourse this was a very long race, but this is also visible after a 30 minute race (we hardly run shorter races than that).

Hopefully my settings can help you and others.

Sorry Roy, the disagree-reaction was ment to be a "can't confirm this" - I changed it into an "informative". My bad!

Thanks for sharing your settings. They are basically the same as mine. If I find the time I will do a 60 min race and probably see some dirt effects. My 'tests' were 25-min-races. That seems to be a little to short.

yeah, we run 40 minute races, and it shows up there, ofcourse not as much if you don't drive close behind someone else, or have a trip through the graveltrap...:p

One could argue that over longer races the buildup is a bit too much, especially without a "screen tear-off" option ingame.

This is just a little thing related to tracks with larger grid sizes causing overlapping pit boxes:

I'm assuming that the order that AI cars leave the pits to start their practice/qual session is randomised? I'm wondering if the AI car that occupies the same pit box as the player could/should be set to always start first, as soon as the session starts. That way providing the player takes at least a second or two to begin their session there wouldnt be the jump scare of seeing the back of an AI cars headrest or rollcage filling the screen as they would have hopefully already driven away...

Description: Add LFM (LowFuelMotorsports) button like in picture example below for Multiplayer section that would open steam overlay browser or default desktop browser to lowfuelmotorsport.com
Benefit: There is strong belief that large portion of playerbase doesn't know the existence of LFM. People on this forum may not recognize it as problem. But reality is most people pick up and play, and don't read this forum, social media or use google and reddit to actively look out for ranked daily racing services. If its not in the menu, for them, it means such service is not provided. So the best way to inform this audience is reaching to them directly in main menu.
Last words: Launch option to directly join server was amazing addition. Lets assume such menu option that would open browser to LFM would be implemented. If used, that means the game is open and "Join server" with launch option is no longer viable. So that creates slight friction in user experience. If it would be possible to implement "join server" function from browser while game is running would feel like heaven and would result in well integrated modern daily ranked racing system for AMS2.

The MP requires complete rework. LMU user count skyrocketed because of proper multiplayer. AMS2 should have either a comprehensive and enjoyable career mode and/or proper multiplayer to compete with LMU.

Are you sure it's solely down to MP? It's genuinely a decent game with a popular car selection and using an established and decent engine.
