Now we're talking; great work. Two Aston GT4s would be a surprise, but the Aston and Alpine additions there make sense with Renato accidentally confirming there were two more in the internal build.

 

Other that the Aston, do we know anything else? Tracks? Some others improvements on the game? Can you imagine career mode making its debut in the next update? (yeah I know it is not happening..)

 

You want other content news or just improvements? All I know is mid session saves will come one day and this update seems to be endurance based

Hey guys, it's already mid-July. Will we have any news this week? Will I be able to simulate Dudu Barrichello's podium at Interlagos? I'm excited about it, and you?

Our very own @Racinglegend1234 has just produced a great video (see the youtube in his signature) explaining a lot of this, there were some things I didn't know about in there and it's a great summary.

 

Yes I am subscribed to him and saw the video this morning, I will watch it when I find the time

 

Anyone had a poke around the new update's files for any hints yet? I'm away so I can't try it, but I assume that it must be a good update if no-one has had time to do any snooping!

I wish they'd stop putting pieces of content that the game doesn't have yet in the files. I like the surprise. Working on mods you see things and it's nice not to have spoilers.

 

A spoiler tag may be good to keep the leaks hidden but visible to those who want to see them, i.e.:

Are these only in the beta builds? Even with show hidden files turned on I don't see any of these in my vehicles or tracks folders. Currently on latest version which is 1.6.6.1

Also I'm honestly floored that my request for spa 2004/5 is showing up in the game files. I honestly never expected it to given much if even any thought at all.

 

From the "file-finding" channel in the unofficial AMS 2 discord run by Racinglegend and written by me:

these files can be found in the base game through installing any track mod and any mod created by Thundeflash or any other modding group that converts cars for use in AMS 2. These files will appear in a folder called tracks, and a folder called vehicles. While these pieces of content being spotted in the files doesn't garentee they will appear in the game, it's a very good jumping off point for speculation.
