If they add it, I hope they make it share with the AMG

 

I would add to that that they need to do better with the rumble, it seems to only engage when tires break loose. For comparison, with Project Cars 2, the rumble engages for gear shifting and rumble strips.
So that reminds me of my other suggestion to add bass sound to rumble strips, this will be more pronounced with controller users who lack the force feedback. So do this for the controller users too.

 

Hello.... fairly new to AMS2 and enjoying it very much. My only gripe is the lack of single player stat tracking. It's hard to believe that the game can't keep track of more than the top three cars and tracks that you have driven. So I would like to see full stat tracking added to the game if possible.

 

Honestly, this is more about car setup that controller. The cars on LMU, especially on default setup are way way more understeery, which definitely can help when playing with controller.

The rear starts to break lose easy on default setups on AMS2 in a lot of cars, but I'm sure it's easier to manage on a wheel and pedals. Try adjust the car setups, add quite a bit of pump stops to front and rear, but especially adding those to the front add more understear and reduces the rear flipping out during braking. You can also increase the preload in differential, adjust dampers, move break bias to the front... but my bump stops seems very often help with that issue.

 

I have a very simple request: please add a restart race feature in multiplayer, it's basically impossible to run any private championship against AI because there's no restart race button, if something screws up you need to restart the entire weekend (because you cannot even set the grid, so you need to run qualifying again for some reason!!!), and it's such a shame because AMS2 is better than any other game we've tried for our AI championship in terms of features, but there's always something missing in every one of those games, and in AMS2 it's race restarts and manual grid setup... I am genuinely amazed there's literally only ONE reddit thread about it and that's it, it should be an essential feature even for league racing

 

Is it in any way possible to have something like "default" or "starting pressures" as an option for tyre pressures when creating pit strategies?

Unless I'm missing something, I can't have a generic "Tyres Only" pit strategy that carries over to different cars because the tyre pressures are car specific. Every time I change cars/classes, I have to edit my "Tyres Only" pit strategy, reset to default (so pressures are correct for THAT car), then change the fuel and damage options, then save the pit strategy again.

 

Alright, I understand. It was just a simple thought I had — unfortunately, I don’t have any technical understanding in this area.
I just thought more would be possible because at Le Mans it says there are 60 pit boxes.
Could you send me a link to such a mod, please? I'd like to test if my PC can handle it and whether it even works at all.

I never used it - I have not got any mods working. To tell you the truth I think it was not a 'mod' you could download but more a way you could 'mod' the game. I think Jake from GPLaps on youtube had done it at some point - ah yes:

 

You can use "AMS2 Logbook", a third party application to keep track of every class, car, sessions, laps, standings, etc...

I use it for ages now and it´s really good! You even get "medals" for hotlap challenges, so you have some motivation to get gold or the diamond medal for one track/car combo. Only downside, you have to open the app before starting AMS2 and when you done driving, you have to click on a "load" button to load the last session from the game to have it in the app.

So I think there should be a mode that issues a warning beforehand that this could lead to problems. But for people with enough power, there should be a mode in the hardware. Where you then say, yes, I accept that it could lead to problems and you can still hire more.I mean, we're all old enough to read this, and then it won't result in a bad review. If a game doesn't run well, if you adjust it too much. After the message came

Thanks a lot for the video – it really helped me out!
It turns out it’s actually super easy to race against 47 AI opponents on any track, and the setup effort is minimal. You can even go up to 59 AI, though that only works in single race mode.

Racing with 47 cars on tight tracks like Brands Hatch or the short layout at Spielberg is both hilarious and intense – total chaos in the best way!

Thanks again for your help. You’ve definitely made me enjoy the game even more than I already did!

 

3rd Endurance DLC (over than Le Mans) and still no in-game saving. Other users like me asked more times for this implementation, even at cost of livetracking for the session in which this feature would be active. Please consider that.

 

A bit more love to the people who use a controller, need a bit more feedback, on rumble, and how the car is behaving like going over the Kerbs etc, some work, some don't, and if you could fix the rumble or vibration, in the auto upshift mode. It used to work a long time ago, then after one update it stopped.
This is the only racing game i play, and it would really be much appreciated if you gave us some love.

Can we please make it so that the "live update element" is turned off when you select NO HUD? Right now it's like this

Meanwhile the dash on my in game wheel already has brake bias info is completely covered by this text. And you can't move it since moving the HUD elements is only effects the minimal HUD setting. It's really annoying for VR users who play with NO HUD

 

I'm with you 100% on this. I've driven this sim exclusively in VR and it's painful that we can't get a 100% clear, immersive experience because we get text pop-ups all over our view. I've given up hope it'll ever be fixed though.
