Concretely I have the problem now with the pedal calibration, but I encountered this issue before with the graphics options, only then I managed to save it at some point by repeating the process: edit configuration, close game, open game, check if changes took effect, and if not do it again. However it is not visually possible to see if the pedal calibration was stored or not just opening the settings page, making the process much slower since I need to open a test session everytime. I lost now a good half an hour trying to calibrate the pedals, without succeeding . It goes like this: - If after opening the game, I go directly to options and do the pedal calibration, it just does nothing and takes my old calibration. I have tried to just do this and restart the game afterwards, but nothing. - If I calibrate the pedals during the racing/training session, calibration just disappear (meaning, 100% will be 100%, much much harder that I intent or I have ever use the pedals, since I can not physically reach it). Whenever I reboot the game, the calibration is just what I had before. I have made sure I have no program opened that would load any game files, also made sure that no files are in the cache of the Windows editor or Notepad++, for example. I have seen many times that this topic is brought up, examples: https://www.reddit.com/r/AUTOMOBILISTA/comments/wpr7op/wheel_settings_not_savingworking/ https://www.reddit.com/r/AUTOMOBILISTA/comments/1h9e9p8/wheel_settings_not_saved/ performance and graphics settings wont save (AMS2) Config Loss (AMS2 cant save) (I tried the solution here proposed) I do not have this issue in any other game I play, and since this is brought up quite sometimes already, I'd like to politely ask that it is taken serious and investigated. I have not tried deleting my whole configuration and doing it from scratch, but honestly I do not feel like it, I have everything mapped and configured in a way I like since ages, this definitely seems like a bug of some sort.
I still wasn't able to solve the issue. I did create new profiles now, and can configure everything, but the pedal calibration won't save (the wheel calibration, for example, does save). I have wheel and pedals from different branches, if that matter, so they are not configured together as a bundle in AMS2.
Lots of people have independently connected pedals. You have already taken all the steps that would normally clear a problem in AMS 2. Your pedals work normally in all other games? You have tried moving the pedals to a different USB port? It is a port directly attached to the computer and not through a hub?
Hello I have a similar issue. I'm using a Thrustmaster TX wheel with T3PA pedals. I first had the issue that the pedals would hit 100% with me only pressing down 60% or so. This made it impossible to avoid locking brakes and to be measured on the throttle. I found a solution to this (which I don't understand how it fixes it but it works great and I'm happy) - I do the pedal calibration but I only press the pedals till the % counter gets to 50-60%. This solves it great. My actual issue is that with each new loaded session the calibration goes back to the broken default. The wheel calibration works absolutely perfectly. I've googled around and it seems this issue is common enough to warrant attention. It's not ruinous as it takes around 30 seconds to redo but it'd be nice for the settings to be consistent to help me learn cars and tracks and become a better driver! Thank you
