Good day, are there any plans or ideas, or is it even possible? To divide the Nordschleife into more than three sectors and for sectors where, for example, a yellow flag is To introduce Code 60, so that only 60 can be driven there, because there is no safety car on the Nordschleife .And yes, I know you can activate the safety car on the Nordschleife, but that doesn't make sense on the long track

I was incredibly excited about the new update — especially because the day before, I discovered that you could increase the number of AI opponents to 47 in the "tracks" files.
Unfortunately, since the update, that no longer works. Changes made in the .trd file are no longer recognized.
I don’t understand enough about the technical side of things, so maybe my question is a bit too simplistic.

Could you possibly revert it so that the changes in the file are applied in the game again?

 

Hi guys why the default setup are so bad . Why it's not like LMU, you can drive the cars without mastering setup. ... And for those who are confortable with setup get more from the cars.
I am sur that lot of people will stop playing AMS2 ( I am not talking about the fan), because they think that the game are bad or unplayable, but the problem is just related to default setup who is ... Just for info I am a fan AMS2 and I have all DLC. Reiza team can you help with default setup. Thanks

 

Go to "time trial", select the car and track you want to drive, add ghost, and select the top driver with the same car as you got. Load their setup once in game and then edit parameters that suit your driving better. In other words you have to learn car setups in this game in at least the most basic aspects but there is plenty of stuff you can just have done by loading setups from the time trial leaderboard.

 

I mean lot of player don’t really go on forum and everything. A better default setup and probably some minor physic ajustment could make the gt3 gen2 and modern hypercar better. I see lot of complain from youtubers and players that say modern stuff in ams2 is the weakest class in ams2. And that ams2 are good only for classic stuffs. There are tone of others game that have modern class. I don’t approve these arguments.

 

What should be done to the default setup to make it "better" in your opinion ? The default setups are meant to be a "safe" setting. I some time ago argued there should exist two default setups "safe" and "aggressive", maybe that would help ? Personally i wish it was easier to figure out how car setups work in the first place so it doesn't just look like a wall of numbers and the game making you a driver, engineer and crew chief at the same time.

 

I fully agree with @scotch lafaro . The question is not me or those who spent some time to understand how to setup the cars. The most people want just to play and not spent time to understand the setup .... And AMS 2 is not pure simulation, it's simarcade , and it will be better and easiest if the default setup is more stable and that anyone can you use easily. The best exemple is LMU.

 

AMS2 is most definitely not a simcade. And not sure by what standards you think the default setups are not stable, because they are the most understeer and safe setups i have seen in racing games out there.

 

It's your opinion and i respect , for the most player the standard is LMU and RF2 and for others is Iracing. But when i say AMS 2 is Simcade, that doesn't mean it's a bad game. On the contrary, I enjoy it and have a lot of fun playing it. The evidence is , i have all DLC except Nurbergring because I don't see any important difference compared to the one from 2020.

You compare multiplayer competitive games against a singleplayer game. 2 of the 3 games are the same (just different skin). That’s not fair. Ams2 is nothing like gt7 and forza in term of physic. Way more realistic but have some pc2 elements. (Like rear loose in gt3 gen2)
You just use not the good style. I will say its like between irenting/lmu and gt7. Very fun to drive.

 

And i am not comparing or talking about multiplayer. Since there is no definition or subjective criteria for defining whether a game is a simcade or a simulation, I think everyone has their own point of view, which I respect. My comment mainly concerns the default setup, which needs to be improved to attract more people and make things easier for new players, because this game deserves to be even more widely known. As for me, I've been playing simracing games for over 32 years, so I have no problems with it, and AMS 2 is one of my favorite games.

 

The template download for the Aston Martin Vantage GTE is actually the GT4 template. Just wanted to flag it here so it can hopefully be corrected.
