How many GT3 cars have you raced in IRL if i may ask?

 

Your assuming there will be an AMS3, maybe Reiza will go in a different direction in the future, or they will all retire as rich men and women. We can't just assume there will be another AMS after they have finished developing AMS2.

So why to your release the fix 1.6.7.1 when you have to release a fix to fix an issue that you know that the patch has at the first place ?!?!
I am confused, why you don’t delay a couple of days the fix in order to include any fix

 

Probably because they didn't discover the new bug until after the release. It happens sometimes.

 

So perhaps they must to reopen the application for beta testers in order to by more of them , but this is not the thread to talk about . Lets ones more wait then …
By the way I found the GT3 class far more slippery to drive the exit from the corners make the game on this part far slower than the competition and no a really sim .

 

As the old saying goes: the only person who makes no mistakes is the one that doesn't do anything.

Reiza is great to have their quick deployment process and while some issues can surface unexpectedly they can also be quickly fixed. I personally prefer that from long testing periods slowing the development or causing some bugs to be unpatched for longer periods.

 

Instead of just saying random opinions it would be better to make a video recording showing your car setup, the full car information hud and show us how you drive. You do not even mention track conditions, weather, tirewear settings, we might as well assume you are just on an outlap with cold tires and it is why you are sliding.

Also do you know how a GT3 is supposed to drive, what if every other existing racing game has them wrong instead and AMS2 is the only correct one ? Just a theory.

 

Yes I know very well how a GT3 car supposed to drive especially a Porsche 911 GT3 R , so because nobody knows to whom he speak let’s not make line to nobody favor . It’s Reiza’s responsibility to evaluate any info , not mine , yours his her etc etc , thanks anyway for your reply .

 

Actually providing specific details as to car, track, weather, tyre temperatures, race conditions, etc., is exactly the information Reiza ask for when hunting down bugs.

 

The GT3 have way more corner exit stability than in any other sims I've played. Even in standard setups.

Make sure you don't have any old setups saved for a car, if you click on car setup if will always autoload the saved setup

 

No because of an issue in camera I was forced to erase everything from my laptop so re installed and start from the beginning so car settings also . Now speaking about cornering exit a presume that you speak for fast exits , The GT3 class is in fact very heavy class, It’s almost 1300 kgs so it’s normal to be slower at cornering from other classes , this is not what I am saying,
I run 20 rounds at spa with 911 gen 1 with the same fuel load as on an other sim game ( no need to tell ) with the same fuel car track settings of course similar and conditions . I was 2.8 sec slower . I have to notice here that I drove a car that I own in real life. That was what I am saying and because of the hostility that I am going to face I will stop itv. Everything is FINE.

 

I'm about 2 seconds slower in ACC compared to equivalent cars around Bathurst, because I'm more accustomed to AMS2. No two games are ever going to feel exactly the same unless they share the same, unmodified engine.

If you own a 911 GT3 in real life, awesome! But I feel like I shouldn't need to explain to you that the road legal variant is still going to be different to a racing variant.

I'll have a play around with the car and track tomorrow to compare the two, for my own personal satisfaction

 

@Dimitris Papadamis What were your times in the GT3? I run Spa in races? I usally get about 2:17 pace in the race with the completely stock setup. I was also talking about slow exits like the busstop on Spa, I think it's really fun how safe you can accelerate out of these slow corners in GT3s since the latest updates.

Maybe you could share a videoclip of your driving showing, otherwise it's hard to tell why you have issues. It's definitely not the game, the cars are so incredibly planted with 1.6.7. But this doesn't quite belong in this topic then.

 

Next time, lead with THAT. We’d all be interested to hear your thoughts about driving the genuine article and how AMS2 or other simulations hit or miss the mark. Indeed, life is better than fine behind the wheel of a Porsche 911 of any vintage … even a well simulated one.

 

You have to realize that just coming into any forum, or specifically this one and just saying "X is bad please fix it" isn't useful feedback to anyone. The amount of times someone just posted "The cars slide too much so unrealistic" is just a inside joke at this point. Providing proper feedback and describing everything in detail IS the right way to do things. It is why i asked you to post a video recording instead of saying "Source - trust me" in your initial reponse". Do not be discouraged, instead just write proper detailed information and like i said, if you can post a video of what you are describing so people can better asses what it is.

 

its very nice anything i read regarding my opinion which by the way is subjective, what like or dislike to me is not the same way for you and vise versa. i wrote down an opinion in a wrong thread , after that i felt like being osama been landen,
is a sim race as all of the games and if we want to speak about how good a game is replicate the real life the answer is what are you looking for.
for exp i woould like for me to be a game to have the ability to choose tire's brand, crucial for the races or blents of the same brand,

so as i state before it was my BAD to start all this i was trying to be polite to anyone so PLEASE...

My only comment is that Osama bin Laden actually was quite indifferent between most racing sims, with the exception of Project Cars 3, which he hated.

 

Sometimes when I'm over an hour deep into an endurance race in AMS2, one of the awful backmarkers will decide to slow up and allow me to pass, then follows it up by suicide diving into my quarter panel to spin me out. I check the name of the AI guy and it says Markell Fenstermacher, but I'm pretty sure it is actually Osama bin Laden.

 

yes yes as i can see the sim community has to many celebrities around the world such as.
alferd dolfer....urbanus....oscar filho....bourvil etc etc
