Hi, the other day I did a 15 laps x4 tyre wear at Barcelona, I pit to change from soft to mediums and only made one stop, but the AI pits 3 times and only put the soft compounds, the pit line speed was 200kmh, I dont know if that makes a point on them where to change the compound or not. So I just wonder if in long races the AI chose a different compound than the softest.
So I just redo the race with speed pit at 80kph, they were keep pitting 2 or 3 times lways putting the softest compound, were I just pit one an gain a lot of positions with my strategy. Can anyone confirm if thats the same in long races?
Yep, as of now the AI only uses the softest compound available no matter how many there are. Fingers crossed they manage to make them choose different strategies in the future. I am pretty sure they will.

Hi everyone, after a stop from simracing for a year now Im back with automobilista 2, I havent found anything about ai strategy on the past updates, does anyone know if they now can choose diferent tyre compunds??
It hasn't been added yet. But, the AI is very good and it's still fun. I know that it's planned for updates in the future and also that the team is hard at work.
