The stuttering thing that came with 1.6 I can't get rid of it, every time I try to do proper race with AI somewhere around 45min to hour and a half the game drops fps to 40-50 from stable 60 and stutters like crazy. Man I've tried every optimization trick and nothing works and it ain't even about pc performance or temperatures in the first place. I got almost 3.5k hours in this game but now It's very close to uninstall, it's such a kick in the face when you've got a fantastic endurance race or indy 500 going on and it hits. If reiza guys got any leads or tips please let me know.
I'm not sure about it at all but I've got a hunch it has something to with other drivers pitting as it seems to happen when competitors head to pit lane, on some tracks like daytona the stutters also get worse around pits in general.

    Hello John,

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing issues since patch 1.6. Could you please share:

    • Which solutions you’ve already tried?
    • Your current settings you're using; singleplayer, graphics, etc.
    • Your PC specifications?

    Thank you.
    Marius

    Edit few hours later:
Can you try this? Navigate to AMS2, then right-click and select Properties. In the launch options, add -pthreads 2 to the command line.

Hi Marius and thanks for taking interest, I had some trouble loggin into forum so took some time to answer. I'm familiar with the pthreads launch command and it only made my general performance worse.
However just as I posted this thread It sort of hit like a therapy where you figure stuff out yourself by saying things out loud and I started thinking what's there to change to with pits as that seemed to correlate with the issue. So I changed the pitcrew detail from none to full and what the heck it looks like it did the trick, very strong maybe but since then I've done 6 hours of daytona some 3 hour brazilian endurance races and currently 5 hours into le mans all with full grid and lots of rain and night driving with no problems at all. Seems so counterintuitive but man I'm happy so far, obvious bonus is that pitlane is much more lively now. :)
