Wrigth Motorsport #120 Porsche 911 GT3 R GTD
The most accurate version of the livery so far. Colors, sticker placements and the complex stripe pattern matches the original car very closely. Other details like names, colored fender vents and the red arrows are also in this too.

 

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate channel for such comments, but I wanted to thank all the community members who have provided liveries or are still working on/updating liveries for AMS2. Your work improves the quality of the game by an immeasurable amount and the decision to share this work free of charge to the community is greatly appreciated.

Build from scratch, matching the real pattern, colors and sponsors closely in their current IMSA livery. Man does this car feature many stickers...

F_V10 Gen 1:

When you are using a metallic shader like "BlueMetallic" or "SilverMetallic within the XML-file, the mirrors are all red in cockpit view, not matter which colour they have on the livery. In external cameras like chase cam, everything works and the original colour of the mirrors is showing up.

I NEVER gave any permissions to alter my work. Had you asked me to make changes, I would have been happy to help. But RIPPING my work is NOT acceptable.

 

Don't know if disagreeing with Discpads statement is the right thing to do. If Ace did not ask for permission to use and change Discpads livery then he has all the right to be upset imo.

 

We will sort this out via pm. I asked and got his permission to use his liveries and make changes for things like previews images and yellow lights, before I did anything. I missed out asking if that's fine to him to make slight adjustments to streamline the liveries for the bundle since I honestly thought making it crystal clear where it's still liveries and praising his work of them would be fine anyways (and that I always stated that he will get the files when it's done). I am really sorry for any inconviences of that as it was an honest misjudgment.

It's up to him if the 4 liveries of him (Proton, Iron Dames, Pfaff and Wayne Taylor) can stay in the bundle or if I have to recreate them. Everything else I posted are my liveries. Going forward I won't feature any livery of other creators anymore to stay away from issues

 

You have my permission to do what you want with my liveries. I only ask for you to mention me as the creator of the base

 

It seems like there was some kind of small miscommunication. I really hope it can be sorted so everyone is happy

 

Of course I have no way of knowing what you discussed privately and outside of the forum. I only understood and assessed it in general terms namely that using skins/mods from others without first asking the original creator is not a nice thing to do. It would be great if you could sort this out and come to an agreement.

 

He only asked to use my work, NOT modify them. If what I do is not good enough for anyone, I will keep what I do to myself.

 

Hi all,

going forward my upcoming bundle will not include any of Discpads liveries. I removed all posts mentioning/praising him and all screenshots featuring his liveries. Affected are the Proton and Iron Dames Porsches and the Pfaff and Wayne Taylor Lamborghinis. As all other liveries presented before I will create them on my own and keep you updated.

In the meantime here's my first AMG ready.
