Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me understand what conditions activate a Full Course Yellow (FCY) in AMS2. Will a car spinning out cause it? Will 2 cars colliding cause it? Does it need to be a collision between 3 cars? Do a certain number of cars need to go off track? Also what does "schedule FCY" do? Does it kick off a FCY at a certain point of the race regardless of what happens? Or does it only kick off a FCY after the race hits a certain point if a massive wreck that meets the condition of a FCY happens? Thanks!
Scheduled FCY triggers a full course caution at that point of the race regardless what happens on track, just as nascar stage racing. Stadium supertrucks also had one in real life iirc. For the exact conditions to trigger one normally, I can't answer and actually I don't want to know . Cars stopped on track or near the track are by far the most common trigger I usually experience.
I had one yesterday at Adelaide GP, I caught up to the safety car (was leading) and then saw another car was inverted and crashed into the barrier So I'm guessing in the case of AI cars it's when they get "stuck" and can't return to the track normally, so it triggers a FCY before they teleport to the pits (which used to just happen with no FCY triggered in my experience)
We're trying to use this option in our league. So far, in our testing, it seems a car needs to be damaged and stalled on the racing line for a FCY to activate.
In my case from memory it was off the racing line (was on the left side of the start straight at Adelaide) on the left-hand side, but I think it was partially overhanging the track
