a way to go yet I feel, especially with the braking, track limits and resistance.

I've spent the morning with various cars at Oulton Park (mainly as it is 20 mins away). I spent hours over night attempting to calibrate Heusinkveld Sprint brake pedal but the brakes just seem to be on or off. A slight touch and the tires are squealing, I can't seem to modulate properly.

We all moaned about track limits in PCARS2, they need backing off, when we race we often ride over the kerbs or touch the grass etc, that's just how it is.

Grass is not ice and Gravel is not grass.

I understand the title says beta but these are fundamentals. These are what break a product, in sim racing these days you have to be 100% on it or the community will destroy you. At this time nothing is jumping out at me to separate it from pcars2 or the bashing it could receive from the community.

Understandably times are a little weird but keeping this in Beta and listening to those who currently run the sim will be the best thing going forward. It would be nice to actually see what the beta testers are writing as well.

EDIT: Can we turn the wheel off, and move the dash items into the middle where they would be on a real car not where the wing mirror is?

I don't have the Heusinkveld Sprint but the old Pro set of pedals. I have calibrated them from 0-4095. You could try experimenting with different profiles in the smartcontrol software, also I have lowered my brake force in the setups per car. So for instance 65% in the F301. I get consistent braking and laptimes, also the audio cues and what is coming through my simvibe and wheel help. As for being different to pCars2, for me it's a massive improvement, FFB, graphics in all areas, sounds.
