I'm not sure if it is just me but I am not getting any steering at all when turning until at around 30-35% lock and even then it's only slightly, I'm also having to put steering lock on 26 degrees just to make some corners. Yes i'm playing on a gamepad since I don't have the money nor the space in my room to have a wheel, but I never had this issue with AMS1 or with any other sim. There isn't really a support section for AMS2 in the forum so just thought i'd post it here. Should also add I have also tried using the Controller Dampening setting both at 0% and 100% and these issues are still present Thanks
I'm using an old Xbox 360 controller and it's working for me. I've noticed that the controller settings sometimes don't save, particularly if you try to edit them via Options during a race. They seem to stick if you edit them from the main menu. I'll also say that whilst I can find settings that make the cars driveable (ie. steering sensitivity set to 0 and controller damping set to 100), it still feels a bit twitchy/jerky when steering - ie. it's ok but just not that much fun. It's like it needs an additional steering parameter setting to help smooth it out - maybe like the 3 separate analogue zones in RaceRoom, the gamma and filter settings in Assetto Corsa, or maybe even just the steering speed sensitivity setting brought back from AMS1.
