Can we please get an option in AMS2 to remove the center halo column for the modern F1 cars, just like we had in AMS1? In VR it's fine, but having the column rendered on a 2D screen is arguably less realistic (stereoscopic vision "hides" it in real life), on top of being difficult to drive.
+1 on OP's idea, +1 for a return of the Formula Ultimate Gen 1 (as seen in AMS). As has been said in another thread before, Reiza will hopefully eventually get around to adding the 'classic' F-Ultimate back in.
I'd like to drive an open wheeler with an open cockpit. If real drivers need housed wheels and cockpits, then they should drive touring and not formula cars.
This debate has been done to death, and was won by those putting driver safety over old traditional ideas of what an open cockpit actually is. Let's not flog dead horses. There are plenty of non-halo'd open-wheelers for you to enjoy in AMS 2. That said, the removal of the central pillar definitely needs to be an option for non-VR users.
Reiza- any word on this? Is it at least on the roadmap to be able to remove (or make-transparent) the center column? As a reminder, is arguably more realistic to NOT see it on a 2D screen.
Now that 1.0 is out, is this ever coming? Feel free to tell me to stop asking if it's not :/. Just want to know.
