Greetings! Not an AMS2 issue but rather a windows 10 v2004 one. Is anyone else having problems about not detecting the g27 (maybe g29 too) wheel when windows 10 start? I guess smth is broken with the new win v2004, something weird about the usb ports. When i insert a usb stick though, out of magic, windows detect my wheel! I know it is not a AMS2 issue, but because all of you guys are using wheels, that's why i opened this thread here. I just want to know if i am the only one with this prob or not..
I've heard that 2004 has lots of issues. One thing that seems to help for the type of issue you have is to go through all the USB controllers in device manager and turn off the Power Management for the hubs: Uncheck the "Allow the computer to..." box.
Loads of people have reported USB issues on that version of windows. Here’s some ideas to try and fix it. You are being redirected... If it works when you plug a usb stick in, it sounds like it might be something to do with the selective suspend feature - it’s somehow disabling that USB port until you plug your usb stick in.... See 1.4 and 1.6 on the link above. (don’t know why the link says “you are being redirected but it seems to still work!)
