The latest SC1 firmware (v1.0.22) now uses the same effect-scaling as SC2 does.

I test a bit, but our arm strenght isnt constant like a ruler presses on a scale. A little bit is
compensated and higher forces are more liniar, but low forces no more noticable, deadzone increased from 16% to 30%.
With liniar test and my hands, its little bit better as nonliniar fbb, Deadzone increased from 0% to 20%, higher forces will be a bit compressed.
But at the end, its a litte improvement i think, not as much as the tool conveys, but a improvement.

Values are good for own curve adjust like crazy-lut:D:D

I'm testing out @NuScorpii v2.5 smooth. Took a while to get it running because the drivers on my G920 crapped out and took a few reboots and re-installs of the G-Hub software to get it back again. Then my kids came in and took over the PC. Gah.

Anyway, I'm toggling between default on 85/75/95 and v2.5 smooth on 75/65/95 at the moment. I like how the custom fills in some of the centre feedback and smooths out some of the G920 notchiness, on the other hand it feels like a bit more work to drive the car. More testing required I think.

This is the feature that brought me the most for my Custom FFB. I use a G27 and wonder what a custom.ini completely designed for this steering wheel would look like. I think the focus of the settings is on Fanatec and DD- steering wheels, not necessarily Logitech steering wheels.

I’m enjoying the @NuScorpii detailed at 80/30/60 on my G920. Thanks!

Slightly modified Silver Raw 5.0 using some alternative code from Karsten.
Got it feeling quite nice on my wheel, but still WIP.

@NuScorpii Which version of 2.5 are you currently using (e.g. smooth, detailed, minimal)? Just curious.

I regularly tried some of the custom files in the past months, but never find something for me. I always did get back to the default settings.
But after reading this post i did try the new 2.5 smooth setting and you are correct, this is what i was looking for.
@NuScorpii big thanks for your work, i really like the 2.5 Smooth file.

I tried the "Detailed" and didn't like it but then on my 3rd warm-up lap I noticed I had just gone 1.4 sec faster at Brands Hatch than I had ever gone before!
I loved the "Smooth" but as yet, have not been able to go as fast as I can with "Detailed". I am learning so much about FFB trying all these.

Just out of curiosity, what settings do you use in Gain, FX and LFB?

Gain between 80 and 95 depending on the car
    LFB 30
    FX 60
    TM CP default (75/100/100/100)
In the file i didn't change anything, first i tried min force at 0.06, but i like it better at 0.00.

I'm curious if others are finding the "Detailed" file of Heavy Messing 2.5 to be a little vague due to constant scrub-type effect in the corners? After reducing the micro detail scaling to 0.6, I like pretty much everything about it. However, I am finding that the scrub effect is almost immediate upon cornering well before the limit and it's making it hard to detect other things while cornering. It's possible I am indeed sliding slightly hence the scrub, so maybe I will try a different car. I have been testing with the P3 Roco at Oulton Park mostly.

I had the same issue on my T300. Just try reducing scrub scale down until it balances out to your liking and you should be good to go. ;)

Thanks. Would it be scrub_scale under FX or Scrub_scale_front/rear?

I have the same question as you. Wondering which one of those is the best one to change in order to reduce the scrub effect that is felt well before an actual slide. I messed around with the file a bit, and couldn't figure it out.
