PROJECT HISTORY:
After the initial release of the 2010-12 GP3 mod for AMS .Race9 Modding went ahead to focus on F3, however got distracted with the possibility of reviving the F3000 category in sim racing. This project, combined with F3, led to a far bigger project that aims at a lot more then just a few single seater mods here and there. The scope of this project is so huge that we were barely able to focus on anything else, with 2024 being mostly spent working in the backgroud and trying to to bring the OSFP to daylight.

With this new project also came the opportunity to get in contact with iDT Racing Simulations and 'officially' converting their brilliant work to AMS. As a starter to future conversions of their mods we settled on Formula BMW, a mod first released in 2007 and yet lacks proper representation in AMS. We also got in contact with Alessio, who had quite the stack of Formula BMW Asia liveries ready to be released, which we thankfully included in this mod.

THIS MOD INCLUDES:
- 124 Cars (liveries and 3D files) from 2003-2007 Formula BMW seasons of four different series
- real life based physics by iDT Racing Simulations, adapted to Reiza standards
- FBMW-inspired engine sounds by iDT Racing Simulations

It does NOT include helmets, tracks, nor driver suits or pit crew liveries.

KNOWN PROBLEMS/ISSUES:
- The AI performances can vary from their real-life performances.
- Please note the mod was originally developed for rF1, so some parts of this mod might not live up to AMS standards.

- Please note that the 'stock' version of this mod aims to give the most realistic impression possible. For easier modes (eg. iDT's original damage files) please check the additional files in the main folder of this archive.
