Does anyone know how to stop the menu and pit menu from the unbounded GPU issue? I have tried FPS Limiters in both RTSS and Adrenalin and neither seem to be able to stop this, which is the exe for the menus? I have tried limiting these also doesn't seem to work. The GPU ramps up to over 4000 frames a second and has really high pitch coil wine because the menu is going so fast. Didn't happen with my old NVIDIA card but there has also been AMS2 updates as well as myself changing to AMD so not sure if its my card or the game
Hello, You can try -fpscap xx, so -fpscap 144, for example. Go to Rightclick on Automobilista 2 > Properties > insert the launch command in the big box > Boot up the game. Marius
Setting an overall cap is a good shout from Marious if your config requires you to forcibly disable vsync. It can also lead to much smoother running of the game generally. As for why it is happening I suspect the driver has settings either globally or for AMS2 which explcitily prevent enabling vsync. Unless there is a specific need for this setting it to 'Application Controlled' or similar setting that is availble there is probably the best route to go. On track we follow your setting from the performance menu but in the main menu we temporarily enable vsync to prevent issues like this.
