I have stepped away from VR for a while for simracing and have gone with a Samsung C43J89 CJ89 43" ultra widescreen. Really couldn't be happier, the screen is absolutely gorgeous and wide enough that you still need to turn your head to see the turns. Amazon.com: Samsung C43J89 CJ89 Series 43-inch Ultrawide Curved Monitor (LC43J890DKNXZA): Computers & Accessories I never knew AMS looked so great. Congrats goes to Reiza for making this easily the best sim out there for true sim racers ( which I knew for years but couldn't enjoy it fully). I haven't used a screen in 5+ years. I purchased a monitor arm, Amazon.com: AmazonBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand - Lift Engine Arm Mount, Aluminum: Computers & Accessories. so I can swing it out of the way and position it perfectly in place when racing. Overall I couldn't be happier .
Short video. The video quality sucks unfortunately but it looks gorgeous in person. Highly recommended.
Yes, so far I have tried Raceroom and iRacing. They both work. Raceroom doesn't have the exact resolution listed but it looks very close when in use.
