Hey guys, I mostly drive the GT3s and LMDHs, and I’m really missing the Ferraris (who doesn’t?). I read somewhere that Reiza already tried to get a license, but Ferrari turned them down!? Does anyone have any ideas on how we as a community could approach Ferrari to get them to reconsider? Maybe start a petition? Protest with signs in front of Ferrari headquarters :hurrayreiza:? Any ideas? I’d gladly pay €50 for a Ferrari DLC pack or even more :D

Dig up Enzo's corpse, and hold it for ransom.

Could always get people to hold up "We want Ferrari for AMS2" placards at all the F1 races :) That'll certainly draw some attention!

I wonder if the fictional 360 in the GT2 class means the ship has sailed with no sign of return. Would love to see it though, but I'm not sure it will happen.

Dear Renato, I'd be keen to know when we can expect to see Ferrari cars available on AMS2, if at all?
I know licensing is expensive, but couldn't it be offered as a DLC?
Having had some experience working with the Ferrari F1 team's personnel, the F1 Academy and on some PR activations, I'd be keen to assist in special negotiations and some ideas. Please let me know if we can discuss and I can provide my personal contact details.
    Regards Hans

Never, this is what he has said about adding Ferrari to AMS 2:

"FWIW as I probably already alluded earlier in this thread, the issue with the Ferrari license is not down to money per se - we actually made a very reasonable offer to them with an upfront guarante well into six figures which is not typical even for other high prestige brands. They don´t want or feel the need to be in every single racing game out there and as far as their licensing dept. were concerned we came in knocking too late.

It isn´t for lack of money or trying that Ferrari isn´t currently in AMS2; the only thing we can do to try convince them to come around is to continue making AMS2 better, more wide reaching and notorious so that they become almost conspicuous by their absence; and if that ever gets to be the case it is going to be the community who ultimately drives that message to them so that´s the door you should be barking at"

Thanks for letting me know. May be worth trying a different approach and options with them.

I would refer to this part of the 2026 roadmap blog too:
Let's take a step back and make sure unrealistic expectations are not being fed here: out of the box, AMS2 will never quite assemble full 1960s Grand Prix, 1980s Group Cs, 2000s GT1s, 2020s IMSA seasons with complete grids along with a whole catalogue of regional series and everything that might, What can be done though – and what we have been steadily assembling for at least a decade already since AMS1 – is a parallel universe for these 60 years of motorsports history, matching the real one on many levels, resembling it in some and abbreviating it in others; this is the “AMS2Verse” you are already familiar with, mixing real and fictional classes, cars, tracks and drivers; this universe is bound to expand significantly this year, with many gaps being filled as it evolves toward a simulated motorsports ecosystem of unparalleled depth even relative to its current standard.

While it's up to debate what it means in detail, my understanding is that we will see more gaps in rosters filled with non licensed cars like the 2005 Mulano we have.

With Ferrari not being in PMR too and now even get's removed from Raceroom since their license wasn't renewed I don't think there's any chance left we will see Ferrari in AMS2. They just don't care about smaller titles

So true. I mean what titles are they retaining, it's F1, Forza, Assetto Corsa and would it be Gran Turismo? That is still quite a few though.
