Was at the race on Friday...great stuff. Really enjoyed the TransAm series, good racing there....and they had built a Supercross track behind our stand which was pretty cool with racing all day. Dirt track speedway races and concerts in the evening as well. Great event. Watching the racing on TV and had a go at the Porche GT3 Cup ( "Formula Dentist" ha ha) at Adelaide during the breaks.. What a blast. Do yourself a favour and give this combo a try. I am more agressive now at turn 1 chicane after watching the V8's lauch themselves through there. Impressive. Watch the track cut penalty though.
It's such a fun race to watch. Turn 1 has always been difficult to get right for me, but when they were talking about the drivers 'sliding' through it gave me a bit of an idea of what to try next time I have a crack at the track. It's such a great circuit! That and Surfers are probably my two favourite street circuits (excluding Bathurst)
