Hello all, hopefully one of you can lend a helping hand. Up until this week's release, everything was working fine: Fanatec DD1, Fanatec Formula V2 wheel, Simcoaches Pedals, Aiologs SQ Shifter, Aiologs Handbrake, VNM H-pattern shifter. No problems, whatsoever. After the upgrade, the Aiologs Shifter does not work. I mean, when you go to "Edit Assignments" and you map "Gear UP" and "Gear Down" to the shifter, it *does* detect it normally. However, when you are in a race, using it produces no gear change whatsoever. Checked in Windows, and the shifter is working fine. Checked with other sims, and the shifter is working fine. Also, within AMS, when I map gear up/down to the paddles on the wheel the shifting works fine, as it does when I use the H-pattern to put the car in a different gear. All of that works fine, as it should. Not sure what to do next. I installed this update AFTER renaming the Automobilista folder in Documents to a different name so that everything is recreated from scratch. I re-assigned every input, including the ones mentioned above. All of them work, except for the Aiologs sequential shifter. It happens to be the one I use most often, unfortunately Any help would be much appreciated. It is weird because in Edit Assignments it all works fine...but for some reason in race it seems not to "take". Thanks
Could you try to change the "wheel make" setting to "custom" in the controller settings and then remap? Maybe it's worth a look. Unfortunately the Fanatec wheelmake settings often require a fanatec shifter working together with the wheelbase, which is a pretty meh design.
I use the Aiologs shifter. I used the shifter with Fanatec DD1 incl. V3 pedals with AUTOMOBILISTA2 and it worked great. Then I swapped the pedals on Heusinkveld Ultimate+ and the shifter doesn't work anymore ?? Who can help me ?
Hey, Have you tried the advice above? Otherwise maybe deleting your controller settings file under "C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\[large number]\automobilista 2\profiles" might help and re-mapping manually with custom wheel make again. Also swapping USB ports sometimes does the trick.
