Does anyone know anything about the rating of the AI co-driver?
Does he/she have a random strength or is it related to how you're doing?
Does he/she change ratings during a championship? During a race?

I have yet found a way to predict how good my AI driver is. One time he/she was actually a bit faster than me. All of the other times, he/she has been about 1 to 1.5 seconds slower, so when I turn over control mid-race, I usually lose most of what I gained. No big deal, but it would be nice to know beforehand, or find a way to change their strength.

I asked the same question a while ago, and @CrimsonEminence said the strength should align to what you have set to the AI skills in the game. So it should be consistent to the lap times the AI is doing when you race against them. I personally was not able to verify it as I did not have the time to throughly test it.

Thank you Tiago. This is what I witness, however, the problem with that is the AI has a wide range from good to bad. When I race AI at 95%, let's say 24 cars, about 5 of them are at my level or better, another 10-15 hang around the middle, and another 5 seem be back markers. I'm assuming they put some algorithm to "spread" the field such that all AI don't drive the same. Anyway, thanks for the answer. I will just learn how to cope with it.
