AI formation lap behavior for road track

It seems in AMS now, AI doing formation lap as if they are always ready to go on an oval track -- 2 lines and tide together very closely, even if it's a formation-Standing start.
That almost certain to cause some collision and crash in a formation lap on a road track.
Could the AI behavior be changed for road track, formation in single line and separate for like 2 car length and wave around to heat up tire. Only tide together in single line when ready for a rolling start or just set apart nicely untill stop for standing start?

Since using this small trick it has worked 100% for me.

Provided I esc/restart, the AI are very well behaved, and even on tracks where the left and right AI paths are too close together, they will try to avoid colliding & sometimes even go into single file rather than hit each other.
