I'm finding the AI is rear-ending me if I get the inside line and is pushing me off track, even when reducing to 30 or 40 opponent aggression. It's frustrating that a car will just push and continue to push you, taking themselves off track as well!
Will this be addressed and corrected, or has anyone come across a solution?
Or, should I drop Opponent aggression to 0?

I’m definitely finding that I’m getting PIT manoeuvred a lot more often by AI in the latest release.

Yes, definitely got worse. What's your Opponent Aggression set at?

Usually 50-100%. The main problem in this case is that the AI no longer back off at all when they hit the player, and will continue to plough through causing PIT and other issues. Combined with the fact that they have extreme stability in any collision relative to the player, and extreme grip on grass, makes for a bit of an unfair driving experience at present. I've put in quite a few hours on the latest patch and have yet to see the AI make a single error that resulted in them backwards in the grass (they used to and it added a bit of enjoyable human like behaviour). I'm hoping all this whingeing will allow the devs to arrive at a consensus and turn down a few of the relevant scalars. I've said it before and will say it yet again, the unfair stabilty, grip and control that gave AI its illusion of competence in AMS were very unappealing to me. I hope that the similar AI behaviour in AMS2 at present is just an artifact of its WIP status.

I have to agree here. I don't like the AI running in a line but they are over the top right now. Very good work has been done in the AI just a little less aggression or only in some circumstances not during all the race would be perfect.

Thanks, maybe I'll have to try 0 opponent aggression and see what happens, as I'm no longer enjoying the game with this behaviour.

Yes, I must say, It's a backward step to me. It's unplayable with this AI. I've been playing a lot of Raceroom and their AI is fantastic now. They have some great AI crashes which don't purposely interfere with your driving line.

They do come at you and in Championship mode it's even worse. Rear-ending, more powerful AI etc. Championship mode isn't very good yet, with very little customization and lots of glitches and of course unrealistic, aggressive AI. I hope they fix all this, as it would have to be one of the best Sims otherwise. My go-to at the moment is Raceroom, as the Championship mode is fantastic, with the ability to fully customize, including track selection, length, time etc.

I’ve generally been impressed by the AI recently but have to agree regarding the bumping from the rear. I’ve been punted off four or five times today during races only to see them drive by without a wobble.
