AI top speed. Imola : fine weather copa Cb

the AI top speed is higher than mine. Is anyone else experiencing that too?

It doesn't matter what skill I give them. They are faster. It does matter on lap times though. Between 0 and 70 the difference was almost three seconds. Which is sort of nice. (sort of wonder if Reiza could implement a skill slider if you entered a lap time in skill with a certain car. that lap time would be the average lap time for the top AI opponent under the conditions in the same car. )

If I need to change some car settings please let me know which ones. i tried several. Less fuel, drivetrain, radiator,... but so far no success.

 

AI are very much work in progress, still plenty of work to be done. I agree sometimes they just leave you behind, but with other car and track combinations they will be beatable on quite high % ability. I can't win a race at Brands Indy even on zero % in the Fiat Uno, but in the Stock Car they are much more sensible and I can get to the front even on tracks I've never driven with the AI much higher within just a few laps. Just experiment as it will change quite a bit over the next few weeks I suspect.
