Honestly sounds like ASW kicks in. Have you actually checked your fps or do you go by what you see/feel?

Hello, everything was working perfectly, and now I only have 20 FPS with my 3070 and PIMAX 5K+. I don't know if it's the nvidia drivers or the new version of steamvr

I don't think that one is to blame since I've got it disabled in the Oculus Tray Tool already.
I haven't checked the FPS, I'm just going by what I feel. I'm extremely sensitive to low FPS, and I don't think that is the question here.
When I'm driving and when I'm looking around from an open wheeler cockpit, everything is pretty smooth. No jerkyness.
You know those microstutters when AI cars colide?
That's what I'm talking about, it really looks like a limitation of the GMotor itself, I don't know...

I feel you buddy, Steam VR update is a pain in the you know what.

If only there was a way to disable it permanently.

I would recommend to use the Nvidia profile inspecor to set up Sparse Grid Super Sampling AA (SGSSAA) . You should get a flicker free experience with it. The 8x supersampling for transparency you have set up is not ideal in comparision as your MSAA is just at 4x.

    Try this settings:
    Retrolux Reshade Automobilista

Yes. Set AF 16x in Nvidia Control Panel (can leave it at 16x in-game too, doesn't cause issues). Then use 4x MSAA + 4x SGSSAA. You can try 8x MSAA + 8x SGSSAA but that is considerably more demanding than 4x + 4x and the image quality improvements it gives is tiny.

Thanks for the Retrolux Reshade link. I'm going to try this. I normally don't use any of the AMS1 built-in SweetFX profiles but I'll download Reshade and try it. What happens if you use Reshade and SweetFX at the same time? Do the 2 programs conflict with each other? I'm not planning on doing that but I'm just curious.
