Hi, Anti-lock brakes do not work. Whether you set it to off, low, or high, cars behave exactly the same. Tested with several cars in Beta 5, the result is the same, it locks the brakes when the brake is 100% pressed, when in other simulators you can adjust the ABS configuration in the game options, it even allows you not to lock the wheels. In this game, it is impossible not to block, it does not matter the configuration, and the most serious thing, put the configuration that you put of ABS configuration has no effect.
I have the same problem. The tips above are really for breaking better. But that is besides the point. I shouldn't be able to lock the wheels so easily with ABS on. Also, "indistructable" doesn't work. If you crash, the wheels will become crooked
Conserning the lock up brakes issue my conclusion is that braking does not work properly - and Reiza have to work (a lot) on it. But if you lower the braking force (is that what they call it?) from 100% to about 70-75% then its a lot easier to handle without locking(much) up. ByTheWay: Even me who have to use handcontrolled throttle/brakes flappies up on the wheel is able to handle it without locking up (somewhat)
people talkIng about fixing ABS on a sim racing forum. The bravery on display here is commendable. I will remember you...godspeed.
