Have there been any updates (maybe tiny, un-advertised ones) in the past 1 or 2 years that can affect lap times such as physics, track evolution, track grip, time trial preset grip, etc.? Just trying to see because I've been enjoying Time Trial with the rental karts lately. I feel like I can't match my times from around 1 or 2 years ago. Wondering if it's just me or possibly other factors.
Do you think it's possible some TT laps were set prior to updates which could have slowed down a given car and/or track? I'm assuming the TT leaderboards would be erased if that happened but maybe it didn't happen every time?
That's possible of course. I don't recall how the AMS leaderboards were handled with upgrades to cars or tracks. If the leaderboards give you a date when the time was set you could go through the changelogs of AMS to see what changed since.
That's exactly what I was thinking. There's got to be a way of getting dates for when laptimes were performed / auto-submitted to the leaderboards and VirtualXperience site. There's got to be a way somehow.
