Running a quick race at Montreal. At the end no checkered flag and after the cool-down lap, I get a message that my pit box is occupied and I am taken back on track and half the field has not pitted. This is a 20 car race.
I think it depends what HUD you have selected, and for some reason the chequered flag is only displayed on some HUDs. I've noticed this too many weeks ago and mentioned it. Hopefully it'll get fixed.
Just had the same issue. Appears it hasn't been fixed in the 6 months since you first saw it. Set up a 5 lap race, was leading by quite a margin and lost sight of cars behind so kept going, no HUD so didn't know what lap I was on. I got to what I thought was lap 5 but started to think maybe I had selected a 10 lap instead. So kept going and eventually ran out of fuel. Exited out and sure enough, race had finished 5 laps ago. An animated waved chequered is all we need really.
