I have this weird problem that's probably hardware related but could be related to how the engine loads the audiofiles. Every time I launch the game I get a serious hang (0.1-1s) whenever any of the spotter audio files or flag warnings are played for the first time. Is there any way to force them to load at the start? I'm on motherboard audio (Z170 pro gaming / ALC1150) and the game itself is on a external HDD (fast one though and on USB3). I'm on a limited storage on my SSD so I decided to stast AM/beta and related files to the external drive. I have rfactor and rf2 on the same hdd and don't experience the same problems so I figured it's to do with how AM loads the audio files. I hope I'm not entirely wrong.
I know this doesn't help, but I've got the exact same problem. And the game is on a internal HD. I had to disable the spotter, but there are still problems with flags announcements, etc...
