Since I upgraded to win 11, the in game audio is not working correctly. Eg in a rear engined car, I can barely hear the engine. All volume sliders are at default and have tried a uninstall/reinstall. In windows, I have it set up correctly as stereo speakers (other games seem to be fine) but AMS2 seems to think I have 5.1 so I'm missing a lot of the sound. If I use USB headphones, I get the correct stereo mix, but I can't seem to find a setting to correct output to my default speakers. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Looks like nobody else have your problem.
Using some logic ;) then your USB HPhones sidestep any soundcard(even MB sound).
So it must be something correlated to the way Windows does not acknowledge/see your "soundcard".

I had the same thing, had to go deep in windows audio settings. When I turned of "enhanced audio" in my speaker settings in win11 problem was solved. But audio keeps flat for me, almost no curbs sounds, and sometimes very, very load "splash" sounds when driving on moist tracks
