This keeps happening to me, and it keeps ruining my online races. The assists are always wrong when in "Authentic" mode, and they change/reset between quali and race. Scenario - GT3 Gen2 cars at Spa. Everything working great during quali. Race starts, now ABS and TC are off. I completely spin out at race start and cause an accident, because I was expecting TC during launch but it wasn't there. Race ruined. Scenario - Formula 1 V10's at Silverstone. Driving like a god and getting crazy good times (for me). Realize ABS and TC are turned on. I have to return to pit, go into options, turn off assists, then turn back on "Authentic", and then the assists are OFF in the formula car. Now they're hard to drive again. What gives? Anyone else experience this?
There's a longstanding aids bugs which are known by the devs. The workaround is as following: Please bind TC and ABS to a button on your keyboard. When in a session without aids and it's bugged out Please cycle the ABS / TC from off - high - low. TC and ABS are working again.
