Hi all, hope everyone is enjoying the awesome early access as much as I am! A quick question for those here who know better than I do (so, all of you hah) regarding authenticity.. Within the options side of the main menu there is a section called "Gameplay" which has a subsection called "authenticity" - from where I have turned off all assists! Although when one loads a car there is the "edit setup" menu, from where it is possible to select "advanced setup" where a tab entitled "drivetrain" shows the following settings: TRACTION CONTROL 10% ANTI - LOCK BRAKES 50% so a question for my fellow sim enthusiasts... **which menu settings override the others?** many thanks for any insight !!!!
in other words, in case I have written my question like an idiot: Do the main menu's gameplay settings override the advanced setup's settings?
If you turn off assists, the values in the car's setup menu do nothing at all. If you have assists set to "authentic", then they will work if the car has those assists in reality, or nothing at all if it doesn't. I'm sure at some point those options will be greyed out in the setup menus if they're not active.
