I had trouble with Automobilista and my Driving Force GT. It didn't recognized my wheel, so I updated the drivers and now it detects the wheel. The problem now is that automatic steering ratio won't work anymore. I have the following config: Please, I need help with this. I don't know what's wrong. Thank you.
I've updated the drivers from that page. I run the profiler as Admin and it doesn't work. I can't get the automatic steering ratio and lock. @Renato Simioni Any help or explanation on this, please?
I think is the game's fault. Automatic steering ratio and automatic lock won't work for Automobilista or rFactor 2. However, it works like a charm only on Raceroom and Assetto Corsa. @Renato Simioni , is an update coming to solve this?
@Óscar Melero you're saying that the automatic steering lock is not working anymore, so i'm assuming that it worked before, with your wheel?
With new version of the drivers the automatic steering lock won't work anymore on AMS. Driving Force GT.
The problem seems to be with Logitech´s new drivers. I´d suggest sticking with the old ones for now, specially if you have a G25 or G27.
People, this solution (or workaround) works. So for now we've got two options: 1- Old drivers and run as always. 2.- New drivers and run games as admin. Thanks for the help.
Is there an update for G25? For win 7 i did not see one, or should i say, i installed one and nothing has changed, version numbers are still same, just what was different was different installer in the driver thats up there. Also, same version numbers are listed for win 10 as well. EDIT. Just checked G27 version numbers, still same old ones equal to whats to be found on G25 download page.
Okay, so here's what is actually happening: AMS needed an update for automatic steering ratio to work with new Logitech Drivers. It was not the drivers' fault. Proof? Updated to last Early Access build (0.8.9r) and now I don't have to run LGS.exe or AMS.exe as admin for automatic steering ratio to work properly. This problem still exist in one last sim, rFactor 2. I guess the deal was to wait for an update on the game to work properly with new drivers. So ISI must update rF2 now.
Just to add my 2 cents, I need to run both programs as admin with the *old* drivers too. So yeah, it's still a bit of a crapshoot.
