Someone help me... After the latest nVidia driver update unfortunately my Automobilista 2 seems crazy. Every time I try to launch it from Steam, different things happen that prevent me from being able to drive: the game crashes as soon as I click on the "play" button, or it crashes as soon as I enter the screen with the word Automobilista 2, or again, it crashes during the loading any track, indicating in a window that appears to me, texture problems, or again, when I rarely manage to enter the game, some textures of the track are loaded badly, such for example the grass that appears formed by black dots on White background. I tried again and again to check the integrity of the files in the installation folder and every time Steam informed me that some of these files had not been validated and therefore were re-downloaded and installed again, despite this however, once the operation is complete, Steam informs me that the update files are corrupted and I have to try to download them again. I also completely uninstalled the game and then proceeded to reinstall it (saving the Automobilista 2 folder contained in Documents) but unfortunately these problems continue to persist and I really don't know what and how to do to be able to use this wonderful simulator again.

Have you tried rolling back Nvidia drivers or doing a clean reinstall of the drivers ?

I had some serious issues tonight with my gpu crashing in AMS2, could hear the game in the background but image froze. When I rebooted my system my bottom screen stayed black. When I right clicked my other screen the nvidia control panel had disappeared. I ended up uninstalling the driver and rolled back to prior version. Have not had a chance to try it out yet though

Thanks for trying the newest drivers, I would revert indeed or uninstall the game-ready features.
In some cases a failing PSU is triggered to crash a system after updates.
Could also be a Win11+Intel+Auto-update problem, It can help if you put your config in the signature, or in the post al least.
