Automobilista EA bug report thread (Please read the opening post)

    Hello!

    I have an issue with automatic downshifting with Rallycross car.
    It downshifts to late, when you are already accelerating for more than a second out of the corner.

    Track & Layout Used: Rallycross
    Car Used: Rallycross
    Applicable Settings: automatic up and downshifting
    Report: downshifts to late
    Steps to reproduce: Rallycross race, accelerate out of slow corner




    There is also a problem with chase camera in Rallycross. It is much to low to be able to race with it.

    And as feature, if possible, you could save Camera that was last used in game, and load the same view for next race.
    I know it is just a button away, but it is really annoying sometimes.

    Yes, Native HUD. I don't normally use DynHUD anyway, but according to the source code, DynHUD should be calculating this correctly, so it's just a problem with Native HUD.

    A number of AIW when in the garage are just flipping a u-turn and bouncing off the inside of their garage wall, instead of leaving to go out of the pits. Haven't tried the other two layouts yet.

    Report: Dynhud completely stops updating all elements/widgets when entering multiplayer race session.
    Steps to reproduce: skip to race session in multiplayer.

    @SaxOhare It must be a bug in Multi Player, but all you do to fix it is press the 5 key a few times - think 3 times - and it fixes itself. I had this too during our last online race.

    The steps to reproduce are the same from the other DynHud problems:
    People joining and or leaving the server.

    Applicable Settings: default, noticed in replay
    Report: AI cars sinking into ground,
    Looks like tyres are deflected, basically partialy sinked into the surface, aproximately to the level of rims. Ocasionaly diving with front spoiler under ground.
    Noticed it in replay so it might be only replay issue. Players car is not affected.

    I found a small bug in super v8 at VIR (may be what happens in the other track, not tested, if needed, i take a screenshot)
    It has a small square on the left side of the windshield

    What car / track? Please use the report template.

    Yep we´ve picked up on this, happens when loading a replay from the replay fridge. We´re on it.

    For reports on graphical issues, it is indeed super helpful to include a screenshot.

    Car Used: Opala/Opala 86 .. also noticed with F3
    Applicable Settings: AI 103 or 105, medium agression, medium track surface
    Report: in S section AI is often hitting inside curbs and upsets the car, leading to crashes. Happens to few cars every lap .. shown in attached video .. perhaps just AI suspension settings ?
    Steps to reproduce: Run race with AI Opalas on VIR ..

    playback times: 0.33 , 0.47 (leader car).
