Back in the 90s I played Formula One GP and Indy Car Racing. I played for a whole season to win the championship. I want to so it again but with better graphics.

    1. Is that possible with Automobilista 2? Moreover I‘d like to participate in e.g. the 1990 F1 season and 1933 Indy car season, every track, practise sessions, qualifying etc - the whole package. Possible?

    2. I am thinking about getting me a wheel. But if not, could I also play with the keyboard like I did in the 90s?

    3. Can I adjust the difficulty level to avoid too much frustration?

    4. Do I need to have an internet connection during the whole game?

Sorry to ask those dumb questions. I did a break of 30 years from computer gaming, so I am not up to date.

1: AMS 2 doesn't have all the tracks, but you can run practice and qualifying alomg with race. There's also a few bits of content that is DLC (Jerez 1988, 90s CART, etc) that costs extra money. For you I recommend picking up the Premium track pack, Formula Hi-Tech, Racin USA Part 2 and 3, and both historical track packs. It's gonna cost a decent bit of money, but they're well worth it! You can also download F1 liveries at overtake.gg.

2: Theoretically yes, but you'll probably have a bad time. I highly recommend getting a wheel with FFB

3: absolutely! You can also edit how aggressive the AI is and also how often they make mistakes

4: nope! You can absolutely run the game without an internet connection

No need to apologize for asking questions, we all have to learn these things from somewhere!
