I've been racing AC recently but want to try AMS2 online racing and was hoping someone could give me a best path to go about that. From what I can tell, best place to start is on LFM with the daily races to get my driver rating up. Then graduate to other the weekly or special season events or head over to JR for the club racing. How does that sound? Any other advise? Thanks - Stuart
Hi there, Sounds like a plan, but all three have their own ratingsystem: Within AMS2's system, you can increase your safety rating and rating by participating in open lobbies or league races that have rating enabled. In LFM, you start at the bottom and gradually increase your rating by participating in races on their website In JR, you need to take part in community races or leagues to advance through the ranks and improve your standing within the JR community.
Marius, Thank you for your reply, that is helpful. When I go into Multiplayer, it does not show any sessions at all. It's just blank. I logged-out of Steam and Logged back in with no effect. However, in the Beta I I do see races in Multiplayer to join.
@stuboyle You're welcome. Regarding the empty serverlist; Make sure Steam is set to online. Have you applied any filters?
Doh! That was it. I had some kind of filter on. Now I see everything after restoring to default. Thanks!
Oh, quite a variety of different things. I do like vintage stuff which has me doing AC. I love the CART/Champ Car stuff. I gave it a go on AMS2 but it didn't catch me but a lot changes have occurred since then so maybe its worth another go. I figured I would start with Formula Ford on AMS2. Those are quite fun. Why do you ask?
