Just Validated files, few files redownloaded. win 10 x64, i5-2500k, radeon r9 280, 16.6.1 driver latest. I use a second monitor onboard graphics. All other games work fine!!! Beta won't even start, the annoying bug about config crash happens (Why isn't this stupid simple program fixed yet?). Then nothing happens. The regular starts, but I get a runtime error when I click the arrow to exit the car setup screen. I tried both stock and modded things. Without being able to run the CONFIG program, I cannot check my settings whether they are bad or not. This is frustrating and dissapointing because 2 versions ago, AMS standard worked fine. I tried single monitor, config runs but crashes on exit. STILL THE RUNTIME ERROR AFTER CLICKING ARROW TO GO TO RACE/DRIVE
Hello Rob. Sorry that you are facing issues with both beta and early access. I'll try to help you out, but i need to ask you to get calm and understand that it won't be of any good to be harsh or agressive. The crash that happens on the configuration tool won't stop it from saving your settings. But if this is happening before it starts, then something is wrong. So, for further assistance, please contact me via private message.
I pmed you Thiago. What upsets me is that the error message does not give information. I am technical and never had problems diagnosing things, but it seems like newer games are being more hidden. I got them to load by using single monitor BUT this is not a fix, even forza 6 microsoft made an update to support dual monitor/dual adapters. When the fix is found I would like to post it here so we can share information and learn
