Hi all. For some time now I've had issues with the brakes in AMS2. In many of the cars I have no feel at all and the wheels lock up as soon as the brake is applied. If I enable 'authentic' in the assists then mods with abs are fine to drive. If I turn it off then all cars lock wheels but vary in sensitivity. I drive online and if the server is set on 'default' settings I can't make any adjustments and I watch as smoke is coming off my tyres but not with any other drivers?? I have tried adjusting the brake sensitivity and calibration options in game but nothing changes. I use other sims on occasions and have no issues. AMS2 is my 'go to sim' and I love it but this is sooooo frustrating. Anyone else having this issue? Any help or ideas to fix it would be appreciated. Cheers
If it really is as you describe it then start by lowering the brake pressure in the car setup to the lowest point and check if the brakes still lock up. Postulate from me: You cannot get them to lock up at speed. Be aware Im only driving the different formula cars and the brakes never lock up. Even if I use brake pressure 100%. The only possibility to get locked is if I from as example 200km/h does brake fully then the brakes begin to lock op when the speed is reduced to about 50-80km/h. But not before.
