If you start AMS2 and decide just to watch the AI cars racing around, you can go to the Monitor mode and watch. Then you can use the Keypad keys to alter the Cameras - rotate left/right, up/down etc. But they just KEEP moving if you continue to hold the key down and then "SPRING" back to centre as soon as you let go of that keypad key. They do not STAY where you had, or want, them. BUT.... if you go to drive your player car and then press CTRL-K this toggles that rotation mode to be 'smooth and recorded', so when you let go of the numpad key the camera STAYS right where you aimed it. Using CTRL-K will toggle this mode from 're-centering' to 'holding position'. If you left it in 'holding position' mode and go back to the Monitor to watch AI cars, the numpad will do that for them also! And it remembers that camera position for any car you change to. So the 'BUG' seems to be that you cannot use CTRL-K except when you are in YOUR/player car. It does not toggle that mode unless you are in YOUR car. It should work at ALL times - or at least at all times an 'on track' camera is in use. Even better would be make it a PERMANENT 'Holding Position' manner of operation!! WHO really wants a camera change that springs back to centre as soon as you let go of a key anyway!!?? So whilst this seems to be a bug in its consistency, it is also really a 'flaw in logic' - to even WANT a self-centering camera. Note that numpad 5 is the key to re-centre the camera anyway - so there is a sensible, valid, way to re-centre when you WANT to do that. Basically... GET RID OF the Self-Centering action totally!!
