Since the 1.6 update I can't feel the tires losing grip through the FFB. I have a Thrustmaster T300. I've tried LMP2, Roco, F1, GT3. LMDH. When the rear tires lose grip in an oversteer situation I feel nothing. Absolutely nothing. It doesn't matter the speed of the corner. I calibrated the wheel I tried different FFB settings I verified the Steam files I deleted the Documents folder The wheel isn't overheating. It happens immediately I assume there is something wrong with my wheel and not the game. I don't know what else to do. I would appreciate any tips or ideas anyone has. Thanks
You are not alone. The custom settings in the link saved the game for me. The same settings are on this forum - link. CSW 2.5 with Formula v2 at standard settings it feels like rubber without information and vibration from the road. in the steering base settings you should remove the damping and spring effect to 0, leaving only pure force - this is correct for any simulator. With all due respect to the developers, they have done a tremendous job in the new update, but i don't understand the enthusiastic cries about the feedback - it's disgusting. I'm sure that a $5,000 steering wheel base won't fix the situation, because the problem is in the signal coming from the game. The file at the link partially solves the problem, but there is still not enough information about the car's condition, although it is already a cut above the standard settings out of the box.
Beautiful. Much, MUCH better. Thanks for your help. I too wish it had a little more information coming through but I can live with this I'm convinced it's not my wheel that's the problem. There is a lot to love about the 1.6 update but Default and Default+ need some work.
