When I open the game I get the the option to input a name, when i write something and click accept a screen with difficulty selection briefly appears but i goes out so fast that i'm unable to click in it, leaving me stuck. I have also noticed that everytime I input something and click accept a new folder is created inside of the Automobilista folder in Windows documents. What do I have to do to fix it? Specs: Intel core I7 6700K (stock speed) Gtx 980ti (not overclocked) 16 Gb DDr4 Ram Windows 8 Build 9200 Latest nvidia driver. ( The documents folder is in the root of the hard drive, it dont have a document folder as it is, everything is just on the /c drive except the game which is in another hard drive)
Same problem for me. Here's what worked for me. Launch game configuration tool, and check where your configuration file is. It has a file location like c/users/etc/etc/config. near the bottom of the config tool screen. Just check and see if your actual folder is in that location. Then quit steam, shut it down. Then restart by running as administrator. I don't knoww if this is necessary, but it worked for me. Hope you have the same luck!
