Even after saving it with 'multi class scoring' set to 'yes', it always reverts to 'no' once you start the chamionship. Anyone else experiencing this?
Yep! And i'm experiencing a weirder one as well. Seems like if I have custom AI (generated with AMS2 Custom AI editor) files, what happens is I can create a multiclass championship just fine, and the max car # is 29, probably due to one track or the other having that as the pit box limit. No problem, sort out the field between the two classes and set up all the races. Save it, go run a race weekend, then quit the game. When I come back in, the championship is unable to continue, as in you click "start" and nothing happens. If I go back to the championship in edit mode, it seems to feel that the max livery # is 20, as it has a red text on the Number of liveries available that only goes away once you move it to 20. I'm going to try re-doing this championship with no custom AI (boo!) and see if it works properly. If so, then there is definitely some sort of screw-up with saved championships and the custom AI files, at least in certain situations.
Yeah, to be safe i've started just running single races. Im going to test that out later too. Keeping score in an excel sheet is easy enough, as thats really all we're gaining with the championship, along with save between sessions. To get around that i'll just run practice whenever I have time and cut qualifying to 15-20 minutes. If im running a 2 or more hour race im sure i can squeeze in an extra 20 minutes. Work out the championship details beforehand (make a doc with races and dates, i use the real weather function) and it shouldnt cause TOO much trouble, that is as long as the other aspects work out this way with the classes and using custom AIs.
