Hi, first impressions are super good, however, I have problems turning into tight corners, I have to really rotate the wheel too much I think. I have a csl elite set to 900° and calibrated ingame. Any hints ?
Normally, the game should automatically set the rotation to the value specific to each car. Also double check with the in-game wheel that the rotation matches your wheel.
hm thought that too but it is not the case it seems. Setting my wheel to 900 degrees, the in game wheel in the Formel cars do not match.
hi yet to get a car to turn into lowes hairpin ? All setup and calibrated correctly...adjusted steering lock to minimum on all cars tried ...
This is exactly what I'm finding, I can't turn into tight corners and hairpins with any form of default setup in game or in default controller settings. All the optional adjustments seem to be maxed out just as the car starts to get a little better. G29 wheel and pedals.
I had the same issue and lowered the steering range from 720 to 360 in the fanatec profile and that fixed it.
I thought the steering was a little lucy goosey myself. I moved the steering sensitivity from default 50 to 60 in the game, fixed it right up.
I had a similar issue that I managed to solve in a different thread... Breakthrough! It was all my fault!!! I pretty much only race in iRacing, I run the Fanatec recommended iRacing settings on the wheel itself. After giving up moments ago I switched over to try a little rFactor 2 and was immediately greeted with the exact same problem I was having in AMS 2, realizing that the problem was on my end and not with the software I decided to change the easiest and closest variable, the Set on my wheel. With a simple change from Set 1 to Set 2 all was right with the world!! If no one hears from me in the next 14 days it wasn't Covid-19 it was AMS 2! Even Happier Lapping!! -Ben
