[Community Tool] AMS2 Iconic Races - A curated gallery to solve "Choice Paralysis"

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a free web-app I’ve been working on to help solve a problem I think we all face: Choice Paralysis.

We know AMS2 is the king of historic content, but with so many tracks, car generations, and weather slots, I often find myself spending 20 minutes just trying to research the correct setup for a specific scenario (like Senna at Donington '93 or Group C at Hockenheim) before I even turn the wheel.

I built a tool called AMS2 Iconic Races to fix this.


The Website: AMS2 Iconic Races

What it does: It’s a visual gallery of legendary motorsport moments. Instead of digging through menus, you select a race card (e.g., 1988 German Supercup) and it provides the exact recipe to recreate it in AMS2:

• Precise Date & Time (for accurate atmospheric positioning)
  
  
• Real-Life Weather Slots (recreating the exact weather progression of that day)
  
  
• Correct Vehicle Gen & Track Layout
  
  
• Historical Context (Lap records, key moments, and why the race mattered)
  
  
  
  

Current Status (V1): I currently have about 10 curated scenarios spanning from the 1950s (Fangio) to Modern day (LMDh/GT3). I’m updating it regularly based on community feedback.

Roadmap: I am planning a "V1.1" update to add:

• Era Filters (Easier navigation between F1, Endurance, and Stock Car eras)
  
  
• DLC Indicators (To warn you if a scenario requires a specific track pack)
  
  
• "Related Races" suggestions

It is completely free and open to the community. I built it mainly for myself, but I figured this sub would get some use out of it too.
